The Pucill Family
Our beautiful westie Gini has been visiting Maple Vets since she was a puppy in 1997. During every visit Gini was well looked after and offered the best care possible by John and his lovely team. Unfortunately over recent months Gini's health took a turn for the worse and on 27th December 2013 we had to make the decision to put our beloved Gini to sleep. Although this was a sad day for all of us the vet Louise assured us it was the right decision for her. The way we were treated was amazing and we would like to thank John and all the amazing staff at Maple vets for the support they have given to Gini over the years. Big thanks to Rachel on reception who looked after my daughter too on this sad day. Thank you

I cannot recommend Grappenhall Veterinary Surgery highly enough. The professional treatment, care, patience, reassurance and understanding I have received from all the staff has been excellent. They have put my mind at rest at all times, talked me through all procedures, with consideration for my feelings. They are a first class team.
Thanks to all of them I now have an elderly but perfectly happy and healthy dog running around my garden, and enjoying life again, for which I am forever grateful.
Without their support, both my dog and I would probably just have given up.
Thank you so much.

I have been attending Grappenhall Veterinary Surgery, with my two cats, for over nine years. Throughout this time, I have found the staff to be warm, welcoming and very supportive. The environment is small and friendly. The medical care is excellent and the vets are never too busy to lend a listening ear! The level of service provided by the practice is of a very high standard and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for a vets.

Having bred, shown and enjoyed boxers for 30 years, we moved to Grappenhall Veterinary Surgery in 2005 after becoming unhappy with our vets of ten years.
The two Boxers we have at the moment have proved to be a challenge. Will, who had an aggression issue, got help through behavioural therapy, and then was diagnosed with pancreatitis. His pain triggered aggression. John and Louise were very innovative and chose to control the condition through diet and pain management.
Sally, our 7 year old boxer, over the last 15 months has had gastric torsion and pyometra both of which are life threatening. She has also had an eye graft and a fibrocartilagenous embolism which caused her back legs to become paralysed. Maple group nursed Sally through. The hydrotherapy treadmill helped to get Sally back to being mobile, even though we didn't believe John when he assured us she would walk. She is now fully mobile again. We nominated them for Pet Plan veterinary practice of the year. Thank you

We have been using Maple vets for over 16 years. John and his team are caring and compassionate, not only with our pets but with the owners too. John's care and knowledge goes far beyond the norm, he is totally dedicated to doing the best for the animals in his care. John and his team are exceptional and I have, and always will recommend them at every opportunity I get.
